Pickup/Meeting times will vary depending on the type and length of the charter and our goals for the day.
Your Captain Sally will speak with you directly the day before your trip to coordinate meeting time, location and what your goals are for your fishing and/or hunting experience.
We are a very small business and cancellations affect our bottom line significantly. Our goal is to treat our clients the way we want to be treated:
There are no refunds. We will reschedule within a year for dangerous weather (as determined by the Captain).
Rescheduling: You may reschedule your trip two weeks out or more – we will hold your deposit for one year. Cancellations after this time will be charged the full amount of the trip.

We fish/hunt rain or shine, however we take everyone’s safety seriously!
In the event that your Captain chooses to call off your charter due to poor weather or other conditions which might make your trip unsafe, we’ll do our best to reschedule your trip.
We’ll hold your deposit for up to one year, so you have plenty of time to reschedule your trip with us.
On the day of your charter, you’ll meet us directly at the boat…
We actively target the following species on our fishing charters:
- Trophy Trout
- Redfish
- Sheepshead
- Black Drum
- Flounder
On our hunting trips, we target:
- Up to 13 species of ducks
- White-Wing, Mourning & Collared Dove
Yes, however keeping different fish species may be seasonal – so ask your Captain which fish can be kept at the time of your charter.
Your Captain will clean your fish and bag it for you to carry home in your cooler.
If you prefer to practice “catch and release”, Capt. Sally offers a $50 per trip, per day discount on fishing trips that are strictly catch and release only.

Depending on the type of charter you’ve booked, you will need BRING WITH YOU the appropriate fishing and/or hunting licenses as follows:
Fishing Charters:
Duck Hunts:
- If you were born after Sept. 2, 1971, you must possess a Texas Hunters Education Certificate
- Must possess a HIP Certification as well as a Migratory Game Bird Endorsement on your valid Texas Hunting License
- Must possess a Texas Migratory Game Bird Stamp Endorsement
- Must possess a Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp
- Must possess a plug for your shotgun
Dove Hunts:
- If you were born after Sept. 2, 1971, you must possess a Texas Hunters Education Certificate
- Must possess a HIP Certification as well as a Migratory Game Bird Endorsement on your valid Texas Hunting License
- Must possess a plug for your shotgun

Yes. We even supply an iced-down cooler to keep your drinks chilly!
We just ask that you drink responsibly and leave the glass containers at home.
You’ll be traveling Baffin Bay’s waters on Capt. Sally’s 23′ Shoalwater Catamaran – the perfect vessel for reaching the flats you’ll fish or the shorelines you’ll hunt for ducks.

PLEASE NOTE: Capt Sally’s primary method of fishing is wading and she and her clients use artificial lures only.
The maximum number of guests for Capt. Sally’s charters are as follows:
- Fishing Charter: 4 guests
- Cast & Blast Charter: 4 guests
- Blast & Cast Charter: 4 guests
- Standalone Duck Hunt: 4 guests
- Standalone Dove Hunt: minimum group of 5 guests required
